Desktop Publishing

Desktop Publishing encompasses the range of products that can generally be produced within our offices. Jungle Graphics provides a range of laser and ink jet printed products. This includes newsletters, brochures, posters and business cards. From our point of view Desktop Publishing covers most of the work that we do, and the dictionary depicts it as 'the production of high-quality printed matter by means of a printer linked to a desktop computer'.

Generally speaking, desktop publishing relates to small run jobs where the bulk benefits resulting offset printing or digital reproduction are not required. However with the inclusion of outsourcing in business management it should also include publishing at photocopy centres and the like.

Whilst the percentage of work that we do is produced externally due mainly to the economies of scale than anything else, we frequently produce small print runs at Jungle Graphics, or provide completed document files back to the client for production in-house. We are seeing a greater demand for files suited for electronic distribution either by email, internet or via compact disk.

Jungle Graphics provide a range of quality products and can print archive quality posters posters up to dimensions of 329 mm by 483 mm using quality Epson products. And if we cannot effectively meet your needs we are only too happy to organize publishing or production externally with a range of print houses selected due to their focus on quality and value.
